Whether it be by writing essays on Rocketry or a History of Engineering course, being homeschooled most of my life has taught me to follow my passions and built the life long learner mindset I carry with me today.
When I'm not in class, I love to tinker with my 3D printers creating suits of armor and props from Science Fiction. The movies, comics, and books will never get old, but to don the helmet of your favorite character is something else entirely!
As I learn more about computer science, cybersecurity, and technology in general, I found that many in my community haven't been introduced to the limitless opportunities of tech. So, I take time to give back, making sure others have the opportunity to love the field that drives my passion.
Growing up homeschooled in a world of project-based learning, I navigated my educational journey with a hands-on approach that fueled my passion for cybersecurity and technology's intricate problem-solving nature. Now, as a Cybersecurity Engineering major and American Sign Language minor at George Mason University, I've immersed myself in the captivating realm of undergraduate research with the USRP program. My research project focusses on data privacy and the privacy paradox (read more about it below!).
